Today, I got my nails done right before work and I tried the color grey for the first time!
I know, I know. Most of you are probably against it right now, saying to yourself, "Lavanyai, those are going to RUIN your nails! Why would you do that?"
In case you did not know, I am very aware of the effects of acrylic nails on natural nails. I started out wearing acrylic nails since the age of 15 and every since I've been battling to stop and honestly I low key enjoy them. I could just remember this day like it was yesterday: I had to take out my acrylic nails and let me just say this... the process of taking them off are to long. Some nails technicians even have their own way of taking them off. Even though the process of taking them off takes a good time out of the moment, it's worth the beauty of hands.
Here are my 3 reasons why I love acrylic nails:
I do not like painting my nails and hate chipped polish, and polish lasts for weeks on acrylics and never chips. They always look perfect!
The nail salon is a super-calming place for me to zone out and put my phone away for awhile.
Believe it or not, I feel more inspired to get assignments done!
